Directed by Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Keys, Demi Moore, Independent Spirit Award winner Patty Jenkins (“Monster”) and Penelope Spheeris (“Wayne’s World”).

From executive producers Aniston, Marta Kauffman (“Friends”), Paula Wagner (“The Last Samurai,” “Mission: Impossible”), Kristin Hahn (“The Departed,” “The Switch”), Kevin Chinoy (“Greg the Bunny,” “Warren the Ape”) and Francesca Silvestri (“Greg the Bunny,” “Warren the Ape”).

The all-star ensemble cast includes Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson (“Pieces of April”), Rosario Dawson (“Sin City”), Lyndsy Fonseca (“How I Met Your Mother”), Ginnifer Goodwin (“Big Love”), Josh Holloway (“Lost”), Taylor Kinney (“The Vampire Diaries”), Jenifer Lewis (“The Princess and the Frog”), Jennifer Morrison (“House M.D.”), Kathy Najimy (“WALL-E”), Golden Globe Award winner Bob Newhart (“Horrible Bosses”), Annie Potts (“Law & Order: SVU”), Tracee Ellis Ross (“Girlfriends”), Emmy and Golden Globe winner Tony Shalhoub (“Monk”), and Emmy nominees Jeffrey Tambor (“Arrested Development”) and Jeanne Tripplehorn (“Big Love”).

About Each Film
Directed by Demi Moore and written by Stephen Godchaux, “Five’s” opening film, Charlotte, takes place the night in July 1969 when man first walks on the moon, and when a young Pearl (Ava Acres) is more concerned about why her family is not letting her see her mother, Charlotte (Ginnifer Goodwin), who lies in her bedroom dying from breast cancer. When she sneaks in to see and ultimately say goodbye to her mother, Pearl develops a lifelong passion to help others afflicted with the disease and eventually opens an oncology clinic where she will treat the women we meet throughout “Five.” Charlottealso stars Jeanne Tripplehorn, Josh Holloway, Annie Potts, Jennifer Morrison and Bob Newhart.

In Cheyanne, directed by Penelope Spheeris and written by Howard Morris, sexy young stripper Cheyanne (Lyndsy Fonseca) and her handsome newlywed husband Tommy (Taylor Kinney) struggle to redefine their passionate relationship, as well as who they are as individuals, when Cheyenne is shocked with a breast cancer diagnosis. Looking at a severe prognosis, Cheyanne’s aggressive treatment ultimately results in the removal of both of her breasts, which have defined her life physically, financially and emotionally.

Lili, directed by Alicia Keys and written by Jill Gordon, follows Lili, a fiercely independent, career-minded woman (Rosario Dawson), who recruits her sister (Tracee Ellis Ross) to help tell their hard-nosed mother (Jenifer Lewis) that she has breast cancer. As they work through their past issues, Lili’s mother and sister ultimately become her strongest allies when she needs her family the most. Lili also stars Jeffrey Tambor as a male patient diagnosed with breast cancer.

Directed by Jennifer Aniston, written by Wendy West and told in a series of humorous and dramatic flashbacks, Mia is a survivor’s tale that highlights all of the highs and lows of Mia’s (Patricia Clarkson) two-year journey from diagnosis with breast cancer. During this time, she gives away all of her worldly possessions, holds a hilarious mock funeral while still alive and enters into a second marriage to Mitch (Tony Shalhoub), the new love of her life. Mia also features Kathy Najimy as Mia’s friend Rocky.

In Pearl, directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Deirdre O’Connor, Pearl (Jeanne Tripplehorn), the successful oncologist we have followed from childhood, suddenly finds herself in the patient’s seat when she is diagnosed with breast cancer. Through this process, she finally understands what her parents experienced that night in 1969 and finds the strength to tell her young daughter that everything is going to be OK … something she never heard as a child. Pearl also stars Patricia Clarkson, Tony Shalhoub, Jeffrey Tambor, Bob Newhart, Rosario Dawson, Tracee Ellis Ross and Jenifer Lewis.

This sends the mother, Lisie, on a reverie of her relationship with her older sister, Aurora, when they were kids and their mother was dying. Flashbacks show the contrasting reactions of the two girls, Aurora’s anger and Lisie’s innocent determination to find her mother. The boy’s questions also prompt Lisie to visit Aurora and to tell her a story.

Her curiosity piqued, she tries to befriend the caustic older woman. Secrets emerge as their relationship grows, revealing that nothing is ever as it seems.
Director Sean Baker continues in the naturalistic style of his previous films, the Spirit Award nominated Prince of Broadway and Take Out, capturing the rhythms of everyday life with a rare authenticity. Featuring exceptional debut performances by Dree Hemingway (great granddaughter of Ernest and daughter of Mariel) and 85 year-old Besedka Johnson, who received a Special Jury Recognition at SxSW, Starlet is at once provocative, haunting, unpredictable, and surprisingly sweet.

A new reality series about picking up the pieces… and flinging them.

Warren the Ape is a parody of celebrity reality shows. Like The Two Coreys or Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, Warren the Ape is about the trials and tribulations of a D-list celebrity who is attempting to clean up his act, patch up his relationships and scramble his way back into the Hollywood limelight.

Warren “The Ape” Demontague is a brash, cantankerous, out-of-work actor (who also happens to be a puppet). Having gotten a brief taste of success on the former Fox sitcom Greg the Bunny (starring Eugene Levy, Seth Green and Sarah Silverman), Warren’s life has been in a downward spiral ever since the show got cancelled. Over the past few years, Warren has paid more attention to drugs, booze and women than his career – which as of late has mostly consisted of a series of seedy exploitation films, obscure industrials, low-rent theatre productions and a regrettable string of skin flicks.

Could the opportunity of his own reality show be just what Warren needs to get back on top?

The partners of Freestyle executive produced Warren The Ape, a scripted half hour comedy that aired on MTV the summer of 2010.

The 24 Hour Plays are an event in which entertainment’s biggest names join forces to participate in an annual rite of extreme live performance: they write, direct and perform six original short plays in just 24 hours. The creative process begins at 10PM the night before the show, when a group of six writers, six directors, 24 actors and production staff gather at a theater. After everyone has been briefed, the writers stay on all night, to each compose a ten-minute play. At 7AM the following morning, the directors return, read the plays, and choose their cast. The casts meet for the first time at 8AM and quickly get to work rehearsing. Tech rehearsal runs from 5:00 to 7:30PM and doors open at 7:45PM. At 8:00PM, ink barely dry, the new plays are performed for a live audience.

Kevin and Francesca have teamed with the 24 Hour Company to produce these events since 2001, raising millions of dollars for charitable organizations. The plays have been held annually in New York since 2001 (on Broadway at the American Airlines Theater since 2003), at the Old Vic Theater in London since 2004, and in Los Angeles (once in 2002 and back again starting in 2011).

Continually evolving the relationship with sponsors, branding opportunities have included basing an entire play on a Montblanc pen and streaming video of actors having their hair done by Tresemme stylists in preparation for their roles. Participating sponsors have included: Montblanc, Glamour Magazine, Details Magazine, Men’s Vogue, Bloomingdales, W Hotels, Tresemme, Lycra, Starbucks, and Grand Centenario.

Participants have included: Jennifer Aniston, Christina Applegate, Maria Bello, Gael Garcia Bernal, Leslie Bibb, Benjamin Bratt, James Broadbent, Jennifer Coolidge, Brian Cox, David Cross, Billy Crudup, Alan Cumming, Julie Delpy, Portia DiRossi, Rachel Dratch, Griffin Dunne, Giancarlo Esposito, Joseph Fiennes, Seth Green, Clark Gregg, Mariska Hargitay, Scarlett Johansson, John Krasinski, Kieran Kulkin, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Robert Sean Leonard, Matthew Lillard, Justin Long, Natasha Lyonne, Anthony Mackie, Julianna Marguiles, Jesse L. HALF THE SKY is a book written by the award winning journalists Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn about the plight of women around the world in the 21st century. The principals of Freestyle are producing an accompanying PBS special that tells the stories of the individual women identified in the book that are used to highlight the issues being faced. For each woman’s story, a narrative short film and a documentary piece will be completed and combined into two two-hour specials, set to air in early 2012.

Greg the Bunny (20s) is a button-eyed rabbit from small-town America who was raised with big dreams. He’s cute and enthusiastic on the surface, but can throw a terrible tantrum if he doesn’t get what he wants. All Greg wants is to be a star, like the heroes he looked up to as a young puppet. But since coming to Hollywood he’s found that making his dream come true is not as easy as it seemed in “The Muppet Movie.” Here, he’s got to find ways to pay for rent and groceries, and continue to chase his dreams. His roommate and constant friend/foil is Warren the Ape, a brilliant but tragic old bastard who is always trying to take advantage of Greg’s good nature. Together they are the ultimate odd couple – they fight constantly, but deep down are each other’s best friends.

Greg the Bunny started as a character on New York City’s public access show, JUNKTAPE, created by Kevin’s brother Spencer Chinoy and his two friends, Dan Milano and Sean Baker.

Kevin setup the trio with THE INDEPENDENT FILM CHANNEL (IFC) to do short films for their network with their puppet characters, with Kevin producing. After about two years of doing short movies and other content for IFC, the group pitched and sold a half hour scripted comedy to FOX, partnering with Neil Moritz and Steve Levitan.

The show aired for one season in 2002. The group then returned to IFC to do a half-hour special (called “Fur on the Asphalt: A Greg The Bunny Reunion Special”) and two seasons worth of “Greg the Bunny Parodies,” which aired in 2005 and 2006 and continue to be run on IFC.

Season one consisted of six, brand-new shows and six of our old shows (pre-Fox) which were re-edited to air as part of the new series. Season two contained six all-new shows. We also made a short series of webisodes for IFC, which were shown as part of season two.

The Greg The Bunny franchise spun off the MTV show “Warren The Ape” and additional plans are in the works for the characters.
